I directed Molotov Theatre Group’s Washington, D.C. Capital Fringe Festival production. This year, audiences will be delighted and disgusted by Nicky Silver’s “Fat Men In Skirts.” The cast includes Matthew Marcus, K. Clare Johnson, Dave Gamble and Katie Culligan. Designers joining us for this show include Alex Zavistovich (effects, fights and make-up) Heather Whitpan (costumes), Heather Haney (choreography) and Ben Russo (sound). The Stage Manager was Sarah Kamins, the Assistant Stage Manager was Caroline Bennett, and our summer intern was Heather-Liz Copps. The show ran July 7-August 6.
I directed and executive produced Team Frozen Penguin for the 2011 48 Hour Film Project, which took place April 29-May 1, 2011. Our film, Tenure, utilized the following required elements: Genre: Thriller/Suspense; Character: Riley Thompson – Teacher; Prop: Pencil; Dialogue: “I’m (or “I am”) taking it one day at a time.” Tenure will be posted on Still Acting in the near future.
I performed in Molotov Theatre Group’s Spring 2011 production of “Morgue Story,” a U.S. stage premiere. The show ran March 4 through April 2, at 1409 Playbill Cafe. More information can be found here.
The cast of “Morgue Story” included Luke Cieslewicz, Kevin Finkelstein, Dave Gamble, Genevieve James, Heather Whitpan and Alex Zavistovich, and was directed by Lucas Maloney.
I adapted and directed a radio drama adaptation of Romeo & Juliet for Lean and Hungry Theatre. The adaptation aired on WAMU 88.5 FM on Monday, February 14, 2011. You can listen to the recording here.

I directed Molotov Theatre Group’s Fall 2010 production of “Blood, Sweat & Fears III,” alongside Lucas Maloney. The show ran October 15 through November 13, at 1409 Playbill Cafe. More information can be found here.
I directed Molotov Theatre Group’s off-venue Fringe production of “The Horrors of Online Dating,” written by Shawn Paul Northrip and starring Luke Cieslewicz, Jennifer Donovan, Julie Garner, Genevieve James, Lucas Maloney, Karen Novack, Graham Pilato and Alex Zavistovich. Live music provided by Erin Goldstein. The show ran for 18 performances and was an oversold run.
I produced and directed an entry into the 2010 48 Hour Film Project, heading up Team Frozen Penguin.
